During the 88th Legislature, General Appropriations-Article V Rider 35, amended language regarding continuity of care activities for defendants who are returned to the county of conviction after the defendant’s competency has been restored. As part of the continuity of care plan TCOOMMI shall provide funds not to exceed what has been appropriated for such purpose.
