Last Statement:
Yes sir, first and foremost I want to give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which for a lot of people that is close to me and know the significant cause, I wouldn't be able to be what I am for them and these types of moments. I was able to be strong for y’all, and to allow you to lean on me and you know that everybody else connected to me. I thank Him first and foremost for the strength to be able to do that in this moment because of myself, I didn't have that and praise God for that. But after that, I would say my family, friends and people connected to me that I have met since I have been in this place they got to know me outside that, of an individual that they speak in the papers. Right or wrong I was able to become something greater than that and able to grow into the man that I am now, at 41 years old. For the man that I have grown into, I am proud of that and I hold my head. To my children, my failures I have spoken to you about before, I apologize for not being there, and for the things you may have had to go through. I attempted to structure things so you can have a positive male and individuals around you guys moving forward so the knowledge that I started to give to you is not lost. For that, I am proud of myself for doing that for you guys. I did the best that I could in that sense. I apologize for the failures of not being there, that's all on me. But I love you and I love my family and friends. To the brothers on Texas Death Row, that grew up with me, that poured into me and showed what it means to be a man, because I came in young, and didn't understand what manhood was. I didn't come from a culture in a healthy sense. To you brothers, I can't name everybody, you know who you are, I greatly appreciate you. I spoke to you about my son, I trust you enough with my son and continue to guide him and teach him what true manhood looks like. Not from street culture or anything unhealthy like that, I trust you brothers and y’all got my son wisely as just as we have for each other and how you taught me and poured into me. Because it takes you and the faith base, Howard take care of my mom and my son, I love you. To Montrell, my brothers, we built real bonds back here and I hope we keep that going. I trust you brothers with the guidance of my son that's why I put him in your hands and let y’all know how to get in contact with him. Please do keep my name alive and let him know that he has brothers and uncles back there that are positive and that will guide him in the direction that he needs to go in. I thank you brothers very much for that, everyone else, friends that are connected to me, I love you guys and thank you for standing with me, believing in me. Right or wrong, up and down, we go through it but the foundation of love we were able to stand on is real. Make real friendships in TDC, to all you guys, I love you, Buggy I love you. I can't name everybody; I love you guys. Sonya 143, I love you. Warden I'm ready.
