Summary of Incident:  During the daytime hours on November 24, 1974, the subject walked up behind the 20 year old victim as she was entering her residence in San Marcos. The subject forced the victim inside her home where he sexually assaulted her before strangling and drowning her in the bathtub. The subject was arrested on December 4, 2010 while incarcerated in the California Department of Corrections after DNA evidence implicated him as the assailant.
