Informational Video Library

The Informational Video Library connects victims of crime to information they may need to navigate the criminal justice system, exercise their rights, and access support and assistance.

The library also serves as a resource for victim services and criminal justice professionals who wish to receive training and information on specific subjects related to serving victims of crime.

Crime Victims' Rights

• Victims of crime are guaranteed certain rights in the criminal justice system under Texas law. This video provides fundamental information regarding crime victims’ rights in the criminal justice system including the right to information, participation, protection, notification, financial remedies, and the right to be heard.
