Areas
This office manages a broad spectrum of essential functions that support the agency’s mission.
- Develop and manage critical executive-level documents, including directives and reports.
- Produce the agency’s organizational charts, unit profiles, General Information Guide for Families of Inmates in both English (PDF) and Spanish (PDF), and assist in the publication of select divisional plans and related documents.
- Support the Texas Board of Criminal Justice (TBCJ) by preparing rule revisions, calendars, and meeting agendas, minutes, and related materials.
- Coordinate Language Access Services through the provision of language assistance (e.g., interpretation and translation) services to facilitate meaningful access for individuals with limited English proficiency.
- Guide external affairs, facilitating communication and collaboration with federal agencies, consulate offices, and other key entities, while representing the agency in intergovernmental matters to advance mission-critical objectives.
- Manage priority initiatives that advance the agency’s objectives and provide strategic guidance and coordination for projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex timelines.
- Organize the TDCJ State Employee Charitable Campaign TDCJ Fundraising.
