BACKGROUND: Over 14 years of experience in the Criminal Justice and Public Service fields. Served in roles of Investigator for Adult Protective Services, Conservatorship Worker for Child Protective Services, Juvenile Probation Officer, Adult Probation Officer, and Parole Officer I, III, and IV (both as a supervision officer and a trainer) for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Most recently, served as Deputy Director of Staff Development for the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.
