EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas.
BACKGROUND: Over 40 years of experience in the Criminal Justice field, starting with the Texas Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer and a Sociologist. Assigned to the TDCJ Parole Division as a Parole Officer, Unit Supervisor, Parole Supervisor and Assistant Regional Director. Various roles with the Board of Pardons and Paroles as a Board Member, Policy Board Member, and currently a Parole Commissioner.
