Coming Mid-2026: CAPPS!

The new Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) is an agencywide change to how TDCJ does business. CAPPS will be used to streamline and track most payroll and human resources processes.

What does this mean for you as a TDCJ employee?

CAPPS provides all agency employees with real-time, self-service access to view and update their personal information from any device, anywhere.

Using CAPPS, employees can:

• Enter time and check time balances
• Access paystubs
• View W-2s
• Update W-4 elections
