Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS)
Frequently Asked Questions
Will TDCJ employees still use the TDCJ time clock or time app?
Yes. On July 13, employees must enter time daily through both CAPPS AND the Time Clock/Time App. (Employees will also need to enter time from July 1- July 12).
Why do my time balances in CAPPS not match my time balances in the time clock/app?
At your first login, time balances in CAPPS are accurate up to June 30, 2026. It is important that you enter your time in CAPPS before you compare all time to your time balances in the time clock/app. This will ensure that you are verifying up-to-date information.
If your time balances are incorrect after you enter your time in CAPPS, please contact Human Resources at (936) 437-4141 for assistance.
