Provides one-time financial assistance with emergency prescriptions, medical supplies, emergency dental work, and emergency eyes exams and eyeglasses and vouchers for clothing and household goods. May provide additional financial assistance on a case-by-case basis to help achieve self-sufficiency. Assistance is based on client needs, such as: GED test fees, college textbook fees, continuing education class fees, and employment expenses, such as certification, uniforms, licenses, equipment, and tools.

Services Offered: The Assessment & Counseling Clinic (ACC) serves to meet the mental health needs of persons in the university, San Marcos, and Hays County communities. Located on the first floor of the Education Building on the Texas State campus, the ACC is a resource for people in need of counseling. The ACC offers counseling for a variety of concerns to couples, families, and individuals ages 3 and older. All fees at the ACC are based on a sliding scale.

Services Offered: The YMCA of Greater Williamson County offers a number of child supervision programs to include a child development center for children ages 18 months to 5 years and an afterschool/summer program for grades K-5. A middle school after-school program, known as P.I.T. (Progressive & Innovative Teens) is available at selected school sites in Pflugerville and Thrall. Three day camps, offering numerous activities, are also offered to cover the summer and holidays.
