Role to the Agency
- Provide ethics guidance to all employees
- Keep abreast of all policies that have ethical overtones, e.g., Ethics Policy, Fundraising Policy, and Nepotism Policy
- Provide input and recommendations for formulation of new policies
Goals for the Future
To Issue Opinions
- Advisory Council on Ethics (ACE) will provide answers (if possible) to a situation(s) that falls outside of the "Letter of the Law" or policy, provide the "Spirit of the Law" or what the policy intends
- Provide material and support for implementation of uniform ethics training
- Establish communication line between Council, Executive Staff, Board, and employees
- Continue open forums for employees to express concerns and ask questions about ethical behavior and policies, etc.
