Communications Department wins 2021 Bronze Quill Award of Excellence for Audio/Visual Communication Skills

During the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic, TDCJ leadership and the Communications Department recognized the need to develop stories that illustrate how determined and unified our employees are in the face of extreme adversity. Over the course of the pandemic, the “In This Together” video campaign transformed into a mantra that is here to stay.

In recognition of the department's efforts to unite the TDCJ through unprecedented challenges, the International Association of Business Communicators Houston awarded the Communications Department the 2021 Bronze Quill Award of Excellence for Audio/Visual Communication Skills.
