“Quest for Authentic Manhood” Program at LeBlanc Unit

LeBlanc Unit volunteer Allen Steeves was recently recognized by Rehabilitation Programs Division Director Christopher Carter for his unwavering support of the “Quest for Authentic Manhood” program taking place in the facility’s faith-based dorm.

The program teaches incarcerated men how to deal with past trauma through a biblical perspective to help them successfully reintegrate back into society upon their release. His dedication to the program and assisting his fellow volunteers and TDCJ staff continues to make a positive impact on the lives of the men at the unit.

Also recognized was Senior Warden Aaron Tompkins and Chaplain Charles Rowry for their continued work and commitment to the program.
