ITD’s Kailey Briscoe Paints Capitol Christmas Tree Ornament

Kailey Briscoe, a system support specialist with the Information Technology Division, has always had a love for art and painting. So when the Texas House of Representatives needed an ornament to be painted for their Capitol Christmas Tree, TDCJ knew exactly who to turn to.

Kailey was selected by IT Division Director Tina Clark, and chose the Texas state flower, the Bluebonnet, to paint on the ornament which was then placed on the tree by Representative Ernest Bailes. It is a tradition within the House of Representatives for each district to select a local artist to showcase their work on the tree each year.

Congratulations Kailey from everyone at TDCJ! We are so proud of you!
