Jeffery Richardson Named Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Logistics Division Deputy Division Director
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice's Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Logistics Division is pleased to announce the selection of Jeffery Richardson as deputy division director of Manufacturing and Logistics effective October 1, 2021.
Mr. Richardson began his career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice over 31 years ago, when he began with the Correctional Institutions Division as a correctional officer at the Coffield Unit. Through dedication and perseverance, Mr. Richardson continued to advance and hold vital roles until promoting to senior warden in December of 2017, a title he held until his most recent assignment at the Estelle Unit. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ashworth College.
Mr. Richardson’s immense knowledge of prison operations, combined with his excellent leadership abilities, will be an asset to the division and agency. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Richardson and offering your support as he assumes this new leadership role for the agency.
