Victim advocates network at annual Texas Victim Assistance Training Academy
In September, the third Texas Victim Assistance Training Academy was held in Georgetown. Hosted by TDCJ’s Victim Services Division, the TVAT Academy gives victim services professionals and volunteers an opportunity to learn from each other so they can provide critical, well-coordinated support for crime victims.
Registration and attendance for the TVAT Academy are free of charge, with travel expenses paid by participants. A TVAT Online version is also available.
