Persich named State Counsel for Offenders director
Giustina Persich
Giustina Persich has been selected by the Texas Board of Criminal Justice as the next division director of the State Counsel for Offenders, effective October 1. She replaces Rudolph Brothers, who has retired from the agency.
Persich has practiced law for more than 30 years, and has handled all phases of litigation in both civil and criminal matters. She began working for SCFO in 2007, and during her time there she has held the positions of chief of criminal defense and chief of civil defense and appeals.
TBCJ Chairman Dale Wainwright commended Persich on her selection, saying “Please join us in congratulating Ms. Persich on this new endeavor. We look forward to her continued dedication and leadership.”
Persich holds a juris doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana.
