mentor program

You are their mentor;
Not their provider.

They will be released with a $50 check and one set of clothes.

You need to help them make plans for at least one month’s supply of food, shelter, clothing, and medication before release.

Their personal resources may include their commissary account, outside bank accounts, family and friends.

You should help them with charities and public assistance including food stamps and medicaid.

You should NOT give them money or any other tangible gifts.

You should NOT let them move in with you. You are a mentor, not a halfway house.
